The Borough in Long Lake, MN includes a total of 70 townhome-style apartments spread across 7 buildings. The initial phase of development is intended to include 62 units in 6 buildings. Unit types range from 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom units with a den. Units range in size from 777 – 1,140 square feet. There are 2 different building types proposed within the project area as well; a 3 story split level building a 2 story building type. Phase 1 of the project includes three of the 3 story split level buildings (8 units in each) and three 2 story buildings. The three 2 story buildings are comprised of 8, 14 and 16 units respectively. Each building is designed with attached garages. Units facing Wayzata Boulevard or N. Brown Road have a direct connection from their patio to the public sidewalks (walk-up units).
