Realife Cooperative of New Ulm represented unique ownership opportunity for people in the smaller southern Minnesota community. Even though not architecturally innovative, the advent of ownership in a community where members can live and relate and commune with their neighbors using the community gathering space was unique and helped pave the way for us to define what our definition of cooperative lifestyle is all about.
